Job Overview
As a Senior Financial Accountant at TA Dispatch, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our organization. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, you will be instrumental in managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
2. Execute monthly closing tasks within established deadlines, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliation.
3. Develop supporting schedules aligned with the monthly closing timetable.
4. Conduct financial analysis and variance assessments at both consolidated and individual business unit levels.
5. Perform budget versus actual comparisons to identify discrepancies.
6. Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly and annual financial statements.
7. Collaborate with the Corporate Accounting team on various projects aimed at enhancing financial reporting accuracy.
8. Provide comprehensive documentation for external audits and related tax filings.
9. Work closely with other departments during the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
10. Support the Corporate Accounting team with monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations using Blackline software.
11. Organize and prepare necessary documentation for property tax submissions and business licenses, ensuring timely payments.
12. Collaborate with the Payables Specialist to review and categorize weekly expense reports.
13. Assist in reconciling fixed asset records within the Lease Complete software system.
14. Offer backup support to the Payroll & Payables Specialist by processing payroll and invoices as required.
15. Identify and implement efficiencies and opportunities for process enhancements.
16. Aid in the development of internal controls.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned.
