Authorization Specialist

Pinnacle Home Care, a leading home health agency in Florida, is seeking a skilled Authorization Coordinator to join our team. As an Authorization Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete final episode billing audits and assist with all final billing, including Medicare and Non-Medicare bills.
- Assist with billing audits and order tracking as needed, and provide ongoing follow-up on delayed reimbursement.
- Review and correct billing errors in a timely manner and assist with insurance authorizations as needed.
- Coordinate and process patient authorization to completion with precision, detail, and accuracy.
- Meet productivity goals as assigned by the Authorization Supervisor and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
- Comply with all state and local laws and regulations, and adhere to established confidentiality standards as required by Pinnacle Home Care.
- Medical Authorizations Experience
- One year of medical office experience is preferred, and home health experience is desirable.
