Key Responsibilities


As a
Front Desk Clerk, you will engage in a variety of guest service tasks while delivering the highest standard of service.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome, register, and allocate rooms to guests.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries.
  • Process charges (e.g., room, food, telephone), calculate bills, collect payments, and provide change to guests.
  • Manage and confirm reservations.
  • Oversee room availability.
  • Reserve rooms as needed.
  • Schedule wake-up calls.
  • Handle guest correspondence and messages.
  • Facilitate check-out procedures.
  • Open and close shifts, making cash deposits as required.
  • Maintain market stock and coffee station as necessary.
  • Provide information regarding hotel services, such as restaurant, lounge, and room service hours.
  • Offer guests directions and insights about the local area.
  • Assist in keeping the lobby, front entrance, and surrounding areas clean and welcoming.
  • Check all lobby fixtures and equipment for proper operation and report any issues.
  • Schedule shuttle services for guests (if applicable).
  • Ensure safe transportation for guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle (if applicable).
  • Perform laundry duties as required (if applicable).
  • Oversee continental breakfast service, including area closure and cleaning (if applicable).

Qualifications


We are seeking a self-driven
Front Desk Clerk with a strong work ethic and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Excellent communication skills are essential.

Specific qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 to 3 months of relevant experience; High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Capability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic computer and administrative skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Valid Driver's License from the state of residence with no major violations.
