Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Director

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Director to lead their facility in Mexico. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating plans for the manufacturing processes of materials, ensuring efficient production and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all plant operations, managing and evaluating the P&L, margins, EBITDA, material costs, and other financial metrics.
  • Assess and improve processes, systems, and team performance, developing and implementing strategies to achieve production KPIs.
  • Lead large manufacturing teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Utilize ERP systems and data analytics tools to optimize operations, ensuring data-driven decision making.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of plant management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong P&L management experience, with a deep understanding of financial metrics.
  • Experience in wire harness manufacturing is highly preferred, but candidates from the electrical industry, HVAC, trucks, buses, marine, medical, and automotive industries will also be considered.
  • Proven problem-solver with a history of improving on-time delivery and achieving production KPIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a management role where you were held accountable for leadership training, KPIs, performance development.
  • Production leadership experience with multiple lines is required.
  • Experience working with Continuous Improvement methods, including Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
