Job Overview

Position Summary: The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This position involves the management of materials and finished products to ensure a seamless workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify finished products, ensuring accurate counts.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for pallet identification.
  • Align pick tickets with orders while staging the production line promptly and accurately.
  • Utilize forklifts to transport materials and pallets safely.
  • Adhere to established safety and quality protocols.
  • Complete Quality documentation for each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the disposal of waste.
  • Demonstrate effective work experience in a similar role.
  • Exhibit good hand-eye coordination.
  • Possess a valid forklift operator's license.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts.

Physical Demands:

  • Capable of working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and pushing/pulling objects.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions.
