**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team at CONSOR Engineers.

In this role, you will assist in leading inspections in the field to ensure public safety and use various access methods to gather data and create reports on structures such as bridges, tunnels, and ancillary signs.

You will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality reports and balance field and office work, allowing you to stay active while also working with clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in performing inspections of assigned bridges and preparing written reports on their conditions.
  • Conduct in-depth inspections using non-destructive testing methods, mechanized access equipment, and/or climbing gear.
  • Assist in leading post-incident bridge inspections to determine damage severity and recommend actions for bridge closures and detours.
  • Coordinate with bridge owners and agencies on inspection schedules, traffic control, railroad access, and navigational channels.
  • Assist in leading teams in Structural Assessment, providing guidance, instruction, and input on staffing decisions and performance management.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and maintain proper working relationships.
  • Knowledge of bridge inspection methods and procedures.
  • Experience with report procedures and National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS).

**Estimated Salary:** $100,000 - $130,000 per year, based on experience.
