Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Services:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of accounting functions typically associated with a monthly financial close, including the preparation of financial statements.
  • Examine financial data to confirm accuracy, deliver actionable insights, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and client-specific needs.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

Client Interaction and Support:

  • Utilize data analytics tools to derive insights and facilitate informed financial decisions.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, fostering and sustaining robust relationships grounded in trust and professionalism.
  • Maintain strong client rapport, addressing inquiries, offering guidance, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.

Process Enhancement and Compliance:

  • Continuously assess and refine accounting processes, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about emerging accounting technologies and trends to propose innovative solutions for business advancement and optimization.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
  • Establish and uphold strong internal controls to protect client assets and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Prior or current accounting experience in public accounting, corporate, or private sectors.
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency in platforms such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • CPA license is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to leverage technology to ensure efficient and effective processes.
