Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team at Dearing Compressor. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within our heavy industrial manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Receipt and Storage: Receive and unload inbound shipments, inspecting for damage and accuracy, and entering information into our ERP system to account for receipt of materials.
  • Inventory Management: Convey and put away parts in the appropriate locations within the warehouse shelves, bins, and racks, in accordance with predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, and product code.
  • Order Fulfillment: Use the ERP system to determine customer material needs and release parts to orders, reading and interpreting pick tickets, locating and picking parts, and distributing them within the facility or preparing them for outbound shipment as needed.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Use carrier websites to create shipping documents and arrange freight shipments with customers or carriers, preparing parcel packages and LTL loads for shipment.
  • Inventory Control: Complete inventory cycle counting requirements as assigned and request warehouse supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of warehouse or inventory experience, with fork lift experience required.
  • Skills: Ability to maintain an appropriate attendance record, good initiative, dedication, problem-solving skills, and physical fitness, including lifting up to 50 lb., pulling, reaching, and climbing.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong self-motivation and discipline, with the ability to efficiently complete tasks and solve problems while working independently with minimal supervision.
