Job Title: MRI Technologist

At PSG Global Solutions Careers, we're seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages, adhering to department protocols and procedures.
  • Locate and record internal body elements, identifying any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
  • Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts, ensuring accurate results.
  • Monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes, providing timely interventions as needed.
  • Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy, reviewing them with peers and physicians.
  • Inform physicians of preliminary findings, distributing completed test results to physicians and service providers.
  • Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation, maintaining patient charts and entering diagnosis and billing codes.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace, recognizing equipment malfunctions and reporting them for repair.
  • Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answering questions and explaining procedures.
  • Comply with Siemens, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining equipment according to Infection Control protocols.
  • Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.
  • Administer contrast agents under the guidance and approval of site Radiologists, maintaining current Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems, notifying team members as needed.
  • Follow quality assurance guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality and performing additional duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years MRI clinical experience required.
  • Siemens equipment experience required.
  • Valid ARRT license, registered in MRI.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment and initiative.
