Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing disorders to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on communication strategies, techniques, and resources to support ongoing progress.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure in the state of Alabama.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults with various communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
