About Eckerd Connects: We are a well-established provider of Functional Family Therapy in Kansas, dedicated to improving the lives of families and children. We are currently seeking Master's Level Licensed Clinicians and Social Workers to enhance our team.
Position Overview: Our Functional Family Therapy model diverges from traditional "billable service" hours, offering a flexible schedule that therapists appreciate. With a manageable caseload of 8-10 clients, our Family Therapists can focus on meaningful clinical work and truly impact families.

Work Environment: This position is hybrid, allowing for remote case management with required travel for home therapy visits. We support temporary or provisional licensure and assist in obtaining clinical licensure.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in a licensable field such as Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related area.
- Licensure as a Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor. Acceptable licenses include LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LPC, LCPC, LP, LMSW, LSCSW.
- Preferred: 2 years of relevant full-time work or internship experience with delinquent populations, including individual, group, or family counseling.
- Preferred: Experience in in-home services, implementing interventions, and using pragmatic family therapies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct clinical treatment using Functional Family Therapy (FFT) methods, ensuring documentation meets contract requirements.
- Provide weekly one-hour home-based family therapy sessions for families with adolescents aged 10-17, maintaining a caseload of 10-12 families over an average of 12 weeks.
- Engage primary caregivers and key participants in active, change-oriented treatment, identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
- Develop individualized service plans, ensuring youth and family involvement in the planning process.
Additional Information: This role requires availability for on-call crisis intervention 24/7 and a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable. A valid state driver's license is necessary for travel and in-home visits.
