Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Finch Henry Job Corps Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional healthcare services to our students and ensuring their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Health and Wellness Manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating an efficient wellness program that meets the students' needs and Job Corps goals.
  • Provide nursing services, including administering medications, performing cursory examinations, and providing wellness care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical and dental records of students.
  • Ensure that doctor's orders are followed in the Wellness Center and provide care to patients as prescribed.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as compiling logs, records, and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with the Health and Wellness Manager and other staff members to ensure a clean and safe health facility.
  • Stay current with CPR and First Aid certifications and adhere to required property control policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current LPN license from the State and current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • One year of related experience and/or training.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and diploma from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
