Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cashier-Banking Associate to join our team at Prosperity Bank. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting our products and services.

About the Role:
This is a part-time position working Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and possess a professional appearance and attitude. Prior banking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
As a Cashier-Banking Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Processing Deposits and Withdrawals: Handle cash, checks, and other financial transactions for customers with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Providing Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and promote bank products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Balance cash, maintain accurate records, and detect any discrepancies or errors.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • At Least One Year of Related Experience/Cash Handling: Preferred.
  • Good Communication Skills: Essential.
  • Professional Appearance and Attitude: Must be able to represent the bank positively.

Estimated Salary: $38,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
