Job Summary

As a Flat Bed Driver for KAMCO Supply Corporation of NE, you will be responsible for delivering products and materials to job sites in a timely and safe manner. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with a partner.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive trucks from the facility to designated job sites, ensuring safe and timely delivery of materials.
  2. Load and unload building materials on and off trucks, and transport them to job sites.
  3. Keep accurate mileage logs and maintain a clean driving history record.
  4. Collaborate with dispatchers and branch management to ensure smooth operations.
  5. Operate forklifts as needed and use personal protective equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
  6. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure company policies are adhered to.
  7. Notify management of any unsafe loading conditions and report to work on time.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving history record, and some schooling is preferred. You should be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 150 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.


Working Conditions

This role requires frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling. You will be exposed to environmental surroundings, including dust and varying temperatures. Visual acuity and dexterity are essential for this position.
