ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Audit Partner specializing in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction sectors, you will take charge of directing and overseeing audit projects for clients within the AEC domain. Your expertise in finance, combined with your industry insight and leadership capabilities, will be crucial in delivering exceptional audit services. This role necessitates collaboration with diverse teams, effective communication with clients, and a commitment to staying updated on industry developments and regulatory changes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and manage audit projects for AEC clients, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulations.
  • Review and supervise audit documentation, financial statements, and associated reports.
  • Build and sustain robust client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
  • Gain a deep understanding of clients' business goals and provide strategic insights to enhance financial performance.
  • Guide and mentor audit teams, ensuring the delivery of superior services.
  • Collaborate with fellow partners and managers to promote a cooperative and efficient work environment.
  • Identify and evaluate risks linked to AEC projects, formulating strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory mandates, and internal policies.
  • Engage in business development initiatives, including client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Spot opportunities for expanding services to current clients and pursuing new business prospects within the AEC sector.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to quality and excellence in audit services.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of audit documentation and reports to guarantee accuracy and compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification.

Experience:

  • Over 12 years of extensive auditing experience with a focus on Architecture, Engineering, and Construction clients.
  • In-depth understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Compensation:

Competitive annual salary ranging from $250,000 to $500,000+, depending on the candidate's experience level.
