Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Head Start Teacher in Iron County. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment for children aged 3 to 5 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Develop and implement individualized lesson plans, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive curriculum, incorporating age-appropriate activities and assessments.
  • Child Development: Monitor and track child development, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and providing targeted support.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, guardians, and colleagues, ensuring open and transparent communication.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood education setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience: Experience working with Google Suite, Zoom, and other educational technology platforms.
