We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing a supportive and welcoming environment.
- Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services.
- A competitive hourly rate of $25.00-$31.00, depending on experience.
- A $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires.
- Paid CDL training for those who do not already hold a commercial driver's license.
- Additional hours available for charter routes, providing opportunities for extra income.
- A performance-based bonus program, paid holidays, and snow days.
- At least 21 years old.
- A valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Subject to a drug screen and physical.
- Subject to DOT drug testing.
