Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transportation projects, including bike share programs, transportation signs, signals, striping, and markings.
  • Manage large and complex transportation projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of assigned staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, private companies, and community groups, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including city officials, transportation agencies, and community leaders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large and complex transportation projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.
  • Experience with transportation planning, traffic engineering, and project management software.
  • Knowledge of transportation laws, regulations, and industry standards.
