About the RoleThis is a full-time position working day shifts in our inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Responsibilities- Assess and reassess patients to identify their individual needs and develop a plan of care that addresses their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal outcomes and independence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
- IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
