Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive RPG development, including planning, programming, testing, and implementation.
  • Troubleshooting and implementing complex programming modifications.
  • Identifying and addressing potential issues within systems and client interactions.
  • Conveying technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyzing, writing, and maintaining applications on IBM iSeries, RPG IV, ILE, and Free.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in RPG IV (RPGLE or RPG ILE) programming.
  • Experience with Built-In functions, Service Programs, and Stored Procedures.
  • Practical knowledge of RPG Free form.
  • Familiarity with SQL.
  • Ability to follow existing logic when modifying current programs.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not mandatory.
