Job Title: Caregiver/PCA

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver/PCA to join our team at Home Health Resources in Houston, TX.

Job Summary:

As a Caregiver/PCA, you will provide direct care to our elderly clients, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation. You will also provide companionship, light housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide safe transfers in and out of bed, chair, toilet, and wheelchair
  • Assist with self-administered medications and incontinence care
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning

Requirements:

  • Experience providing direct care to the elderly
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including 2 weekends per month
  • Excellent customer service skills
