Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as ultrasound machines and fluoroscopy units, to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of biohazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology.
  • Current certification in cardiovascular technology or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a cath lab or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
