Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at BMW of Princeton in Hamilton Township, NJ. As a BMW Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Diagnostic Services: Receive and carry out repair orders as dispatched, perform diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
- Provide Labor Estimates: Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
- Perform High-Quality Repairs: Perform high-quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning in accordance with Center and Factory standards.
- Quality Control: Perform Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete.
- Documentation: Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
- Communication: Communicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.
- Training and Development: Participate in continual BMW proprietary training/education programs to hone skills and develop expertise in industry-leading BMW automotive technologies and processes.

Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Possess great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
- Age: Be 18 years of age or older.
- Driver's License: Own a valid driver's license.
- Experience: At least 2+ years previous of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent.
- Certifications: Previous European automotive technician experience a plus, ASE certifications a plus.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Safety: Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Background Check: Must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, MVR check, and maintenance of a valid driver's license.
