Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Oil Service Technician to join our team at Energy North. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating and cooling systems, as well as related tanks and piping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling equipment at commercial and residential customer sites.
  • Communicate effectively with office staff and customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Document all installed equipment and diagnose electrical and mechanical service issues.
  • Explain complex issues to customers in a clear and concise manner, providing solutions and recommendations.
  • Repair equipment by obtaining necessary replacement parts, calibrating systems, and testing components for functionality.
  • Identify opportunities for additional business and notify dispatchers of any issues requiring repair or compromising delivery or service.
  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in oil service or equipment sales preferred.
  • NH Oil Burner Service License.
  • EPA 608 certificate preferred.
  • Clean MA/ NH driving record.
  • Understanding of blueprints, plans, and manuals.
  • Ability to pass company-provided drug test, alcohol test, and physical.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts.

Compensation

This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Hourly Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
