We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Electronics Systems Network Engineer to join our team in either Palmdale, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA.

About the Role:

This position will involve designing, operating, and managing companion networks in both lab and field environments.

  • Design, deploy, and maintain network management tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to design network integration solutions.
  • Plan and install security patches in accordance with program security requirements.
  • Monitor and sustain target uptime and latency on systems.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related engineering experience.
  • Current Security+ certification with CE or equivalent under DoD 8570.01-M.
  • In-depth knowledge of network architecture, design, requirement specifications, and equipment selection.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, hardening, and diagnosing networks.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
