Job Summary:

As a CDL A Local Truck Driver at Core-Mark, you will play a critical role in delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. This position requires a valid CDL-A license and a clean driving record. You will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, shuttle, and overnight routes. Your primary responsibilities will include performing safety checks, inspecting trailers, and ensuring that all required paperwork is completed accurately. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner. Key Responsibilities:

Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
Inspect trailers to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed
Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner
Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, shuttle, and overnight routes

Requirements:

Valid CDL-A license
Clean driving record
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass road test
Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
