Position Overview:
A healthcare provider in Sacramento is in search of a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics. This role involves delivering exceptional primary care services to a diverse patient population. The selected candidate will float between various schedules and engage in telehealth consultations for the remainder of the week. Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership qualities, thrive in collaborative settings, prioritize evidence-based practices, and provide patient-centered care. Comfort in evaluating and treating patients across all age groups is essential. New graduates are encouraged to submit their applications.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited medical institution with an MD or DO degree
- Possession of a valid California medical license
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certification
- Board certification in primary care
- Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose a range of medical conditions and injuries in patients of all ages
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, formulating treatment plans accordingly
- Perform therapeutic procedures and provide education to patients regarding their treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients
- Document all patient interactions efficiently and in compliance with policy
