Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and providing a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess patient status and determine the priority of patient problems and needs.
- Implement clinical nursing interventions and develop and perform patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.
- Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity setting as part of an interprofessional team focused on achieving the best individual patient and population outcomes.
- Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Provide care to a broad spectrum of patients ranging from short-stay to trauma.
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization's policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association.
- One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred, not required.
