Physical Therapist

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient examinations and evaluations to develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in departmental education activities to expand knowledge and skills.
- Consult with other services, families, and outside agencies to recommend durable medical equipment and home modifications.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance referral and authorization processes.
- Complete mandatory training and participate in triage and coverage planning as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Minimum of 3-6 months experience required.
- Valid State of Delaware Physical Therapist License required upon hire.
- AHA BLS Certification required within 6 months of date of hire.
- Member of professional specialty organizations (APTA, State PT preferred).
