Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service).

Job Description

This role will involve providing direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with an emphasis on the pediatric acute and critically ill patient. The RN in the Super Pool will organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care, which will be individualized, family-centered, and holistic. The RN will also maintain a safe and therapeutic environment and participate in MCCH initiatives and process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Associate Degree may be considered based on relevant experience
  • Tier 2: Must be able to work in PICU, CICU, NICU Level IV, Peds ED, 6D, 6N, 6NW, Stem Cell Transplant (pediatric patients)
  • 2 years of critical care type experience required with competency to float to others within Tier 2
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
