Position Overview: The role focuses on the design and implementation of robust security architectures to safeguard enterprise information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess security needs by analyzing business objectives and requirements; reviewing security standards; performing system security evaluations; examining architecture/platform; identifying integration challenges; and preparing cost assessments.
  2. Design security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; establishing requirements for local and wide area networks, virtual private networks, routers, firewalls, and related security devices; creating public key infrastructures, including the use of certification authorities and digital signatures.
  3. Deploy security systems by defining intrusion detection methods and equipment; overseeing the installation and calibration of hardware and software; implementing preventive and corrective measures; managing key creation and maintenance; providing technical assistance; and ensuring thorough documentation.
  4. Enhance security systems by monitoring the security landscape; assessing and applying improvements.
  5. Generate system security reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Stay informed on emerging security practices and standards through continuous education and professional engagement.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven expertise in Cyber Security.
  2. Strong understanding and experience with Security Frameworks.
  3. Project Management experience is advantageous.
  4. Skilled in conducting Security Assessments, Reporting, and Documentation.
  5. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or CompTIA Security+ are beneficial.
  6. Must successfully complete a Police Background Investigation.
