About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of our retail team, responsible for driving customer growth and sales through effective account management and customer service. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our retail partners to process credit applications and convert customers to Acima's leasing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Account Management: Drive customer growth through various channels, including web, partner stores, and walk-ins. Listen to and fulfill customer needs in a timely manner, educating them on Lease-To-Own terms, payments, and benefits.
  • Customer Service: Establish partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers on the Lease-To-Own process. Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain consistent customer satisfaction and friendly service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores in all operations aspects, reporting to and communicating with the Store Manager regarding store and coworker activities and performance.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus
  • Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Consistent in-person attendance
