About the Position

Action Tech is in search of a driven Data Integration Specialist to spearhead the development of Distributed Ledger Technology APIs and facilitate client system integrations. The successful candidate will take charge of client integration discussions, expertly addressing all technical inquiries with assurance and proficiency. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of API and data model execution, workflow management, and the integration landscape within the alternative investments sector. The individual will collaborate closely with fund administrators, custodians, and various service providers to ensure smooth integration and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical authority during client integration discussions, effectively resolving technical challenges.
  • Conduct detailed integration scoping sessions to ascertain client requirements and expectations.
  • Implement and sustain APIs and data models to guarantee effective data integration.
  • Develop workflows and oversee system integrations with multiple industry stakeholders in the alternative investments domain.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions to link diverse systems within the organization and with external partners.
  • Ensure that integration solutions are scalable and reliable to support business expansion and continuity.
  • Monitor and enhance integration performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical specifications for integration solutions.
  • Resolve technical challenges that arise during integration initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and modifications.
  • Establish and uphold integration standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data integration and API management.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in data integration, with a strong focus on API and data model execution.
  • Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and managing intricate integration projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of the alternative investment sector, including fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to address complex technical inquiries from clients.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration, preferably using Python and FastAPI.
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts and modeling practices.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with clients and executive management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and achieving business outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-centric approach and a talent for prompt, thoughtful problem-solving.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to manage projects from inception to completion and navigate operational challenges.
