Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at New York Blood Center Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing support for the set up and breaking down of mobile blood drives, transporting and delivering blood and blood products from blood drives, and assisting and providing customer service to clients, donors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities:
Provide support for the set up and breaking down of mobile blood drives
Transport and deliver blood and blood products from blood drives
Assist and provide customer service to clients, donors, and co-workers
Handle other related tasks as needed

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
2-3 years of truck or bus driving experience
Valid/clean driver's license
Ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOH) regulations
Demonstrated experience driving a straight truck and cargo van
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and accurately follow instructions
Excellent customer service, oral/written communication, and multitasking skills

Rate:
$26.75 Per Hour

Location:
New York or Greater Tri-State office locations
