Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team in a Senior Living Community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for our patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients, taking into account their medical history, dietary needs, and lifestyle.
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments, including interviews, physical examinations, and laboratory tests, to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other dietitians, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and disease management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in clinical nutrition, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
  • One (1) year of long term care experience, preferred
  • Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
