Position Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our vibrant finance team. This is a permanent role that presents a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing organization. The ideal candidate will be tasked with preparing and reviewing corporate tax filings, conducting thorough tax research, implementing effective tax strategies, and ensuring adherence to tax regulations. Additionally, you will engage in financial reporting, analysis, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation. This position requires a strong foundation in tax accounting, financial accounting, and tax legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review corporate tax filings, ensuring precision and compliance with tax regulations
  • Conduct tax research and provide advisory services to the organization
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities and enhance tax credits
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Perform financial analysis to aid in business decision-making
  • Execute account reconciliation and bookkeeping duties
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
  • Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
  • Utilize accounting software for maintaining financial records and generating reports
  • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and ensure organizational compliance
  • Support tax planning and forecasting initiatives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in tax accounting, financial accounting, or a similar field
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing corporate tax filings
  • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting
  • Strong grasp of tax accounting and financial accounting principles
  • Familiarity with accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • CPA certification or progress towards obtaining it is preferred.
