Foreperson - Huntsville, AL

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreperson to join our team at W A Kendall and Company LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a crew of arborists in the safe and efficient removal of trees and vegetation in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise a crew of arborists in the performance of tree trimming and removal operations.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Plan and execute daily work assignments to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all crew members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Communicate effectively with customers, property owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that all work is performed to their satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of crew performance, including time, equipment, and material usage.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the arboriculture or utility vegetation management industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials. The position may also require travel to remote locations and the ability to work at heights.
