Job Title: Cardiothoracic Surgical Nurse

This role presents an exciting chance for a proficient nurse to showcase their skills in cardiovascular (cardiothoracic) surgical procedures. As an integral member of the surgical team, the Cardiothoracic Surgical Nurse will provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment while maintaining safety and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit advanced clinical competencies in both circulating and scrubbing roles during cardiothoracic surgical operations
  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients within the primary operating room
  • Guide new personnel, mentor students, and undertake relief charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in acute care hospital operating rooms
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cardiothoracic perioperative nursing practices
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
  • Possession of an active California RN license and BLS certification is mandatory

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with variable shifts and on-call responsibilities

Compensation Range:

$69.32 to $92.67 per hour
