Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify proposal opportunities and prepare firm qualifications, pricing, and estimates for clients.
  • Conduct site visits to determine boring locations and assess site conditions.
  • Oversee project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Process soil samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Direct and manage geotechnical project assignments, including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration, and laboratory services.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Perform on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests related to geotechnical investigations.
  • Participate in project site meetings.
  • Maintain communication with clients via phone and email.
Qualifications for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.

• Preferred experience of 1 to 5 years; however, entry-level candidates will receive training.

• Daily office attendance is required during standard business hours.

• A willingness to work in a hybrid environment, balancing office and fieldwork, with the majority of time spent in an office setting.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull weights between 30 to 50 pounds occasionally, with additional requirements based on specific sites.
  • Effective auditory communication skills for receiving detailed information.
  • Capability to kneel and squat occasionally.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
