Job Title: Non CDL Driver I

Myrtle Beach Building Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a skilled Non CDL Driver I to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering materials to job sites, inspecting and maintaining trucks, and reporting shortages and claims to supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver materials to job sites in a safe and efficient manner
  • Inspect and maintain trucks to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Report shortages and claims to supervisors and assist in loading and storing materials
  • Participate in a positive work environment and follow guidelines from supervisors
  • Deliver and unload materials to customer satisfaction
  • Complete daily equipment inspection and record all merchandise returned by truck
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist in unloading material returned for credit
  • Relay messages sent by customers while on the job and assist supervisors and other employees as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)
  • Minimum 2 years experience driving trucks, preferably with lumber dumping experience
  • Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees, and supervisors using verbal and written skills
  • Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems
  • Maintains current operator's license and meets company driver qualification requirements
