POSITION OVERVIEW: The Product Communication Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing diverse product communication initiatives to enhance product management functions. This position involves collaborating with the product management team to strategize, organize, and sustain effective product communications for both current and upcoming product offerings. Additionally, the Specialist will execute administrative duties to bolster product management operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and oversee product communication strategies to guarantee precise and uniform content dissemination across all platforms for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and update product literature – Coordinate, oversee, and publish revisions to sales and technical documents within internal and external communication frameworks.
  • Coordinate Label & Digital Asset Management (DAM) – Supervise, organize, and maintain all product-related assets within departmental systems.
  • Execute various administrative tasks to support the operations of the Product Management department.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to manage a broad spectrum of interactions with both internal and external parties.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in collaborative team settings.
SUPERVISORY ROLE: This position does not entail any supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • At least two (2) years of experience in marketing coordination and/or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year institution.
  • Experience in architectural coatings is preferred.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Capability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Able to effectively present information and address inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL APTITUDE: Competence in working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, as well as fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world scenarios.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES:
  • Proficient in electronic mail software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft One Drive.
  • Experienced with database reporting software: SAP, BW, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Skilled in presentation software: Microsoft PowerPoint, SAP Dashboard, Skype for Business, and Go-to Meeting.
  • Familiar with data collection tools: Survey Monkey.
  • Knowledgeable in project management software.
  • Experienced with digital asset management software.
  • Proficient in label asset management software: ESKO Web Center.
REASONING SKILLS: Ability to address practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting diverse instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and organize extensive data sets.

CERTIFICATIONS: A valid driver's license is required.
