Williamson Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Agent to join our team. As a Security Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, employees, and visitors.

Job Summary

The Security Agent will be responsible for providing security services to Williamson Health, including responding to security incidents, conducting security patrols, and providing customer service to patients and employees.

Responsibilities
  1. Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Conduct security patrols of the hospital and surrounding areas to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  3. Provide customer service to patients and employees, including answering questions and providing directions.
  4. Monitor security cameras and dispatch fellow officers to potential security incidents.
  5. Initiate lock down and unlock duties in accordance with security procedure manual.
  6. Observe and report safety or fire hazards in all construction areas.
  7. Conduct money handling procedures and bank runs in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.
  8. Provide visitors, patients, and hospital personnel with directional and informational guidance in a professional and courteous manner.
  9. Exhibit a working knowledge of report writing program and all security equipment, including surveillance and access control systems.
  10. Able to write accurate and appropriate event and incident reports.
Requirements

To be successful as a Security Agent, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) initial certification within one year of employment.
  • At least one year of general security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • A valid Tennessee driver's license and a valid Tennessee armed or un-armed security guard state license.
Working Conditions

The Security Agent will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, with frequent exposure to patients, employees, and visitors. The position requires the ability to walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift and restrain patients as needed.
