Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team on a per diem basis. As a Paramedic, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and perform unit activities under the direction of an Emergency Physician
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other care team members to deliver direct patient care activities
  • Assist patients in need of emergency interventions, including clinical assessment, vital sign collection, and equipment coordination
  • Interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary personnel to provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
  • Massachusetts Paramedic Certification (EMT-P) required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • BTLS (Basic Trauma Life Support) preferred
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Completion of accredited Paramedic Program
  • 1-2 years of ED experience preferred
