Job Description

The Senior Casting Technology Producibility Engineer will play a key role in driving casting producibility improvements for Airfoils and Structural Castings suppliers. This position will focus on utilizing quality and problem-solving tools to reduce MRB and delinquency while improving cost and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical process and product ownership for castings commodity
  • Active role in the development and industrialization of new casting technologies
  • Work cross-functionally with Quality and Design engineers to ensure new processes achieve established metrics
  • Plan and implement process-engineering activities for new product and technology development
  • Mentor suppliers in the application of quality tools & requirements and new technologies
  • Partner with sourcing team members for Casting supplier development and cost-out projects
  • Design and implement manufacturing processes
  • Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated area
  • Act as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward world-class performance
  • Communicate progress & challenges to leadership teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field or a high school diploma/GED with 4+ years Quality/Manufacturing/Casting experience and 5+ years Quality/Manufacturing/Casting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years Investment, Sand, and Centrifugal Casting experience or a high school diploma/GED with 9+ years Investment, Sand, and Centrifugal Casting experience
  • US Citizen

  • Metal Injection Molding (MIM) experience

  • Siemens NX proficiency (or comparable CAD system)

The salary range for this position is $111,700.00 - $148,800.00 - $186,200.00 USD Annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan. This posting is expected to close on October 30, 2024.
