As a travel nurse RN specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals, providing high-quality care and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop strategies for improving patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, as needed.
