Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinic. As a Radiography Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality radiographic exams and procedures to aid in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiographic exams and procedures under the direction of the medical imaging manager.
  • Work with patients and families to provide compassionate, individualized care in the provision of radiology services.
  • Understand and apply the concepts of radiography when performing patient exams.
  • Demonstrate accurate knowledge of established protocols and equipment operation when performing exams on patients.
  • Provide high-quality service to customers in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Assume responsibility to provide a quality learning environment for patients, their families, and co-workers.
  • Responsible for attending staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education as required by the department.
  • Utilize knowledge of regulatory compliance when working with patients and their associated charge.

Requirements:

  • Post-high school education in a specialized field: Graduate of an accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) school of Radiologic Technology.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare/hospital setting preferred.
  • Must have the flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call duty as scheduled.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist-Radiography (ARRT) Licensed Radiographer with the State of Wisconsin (LICRAD-WI).
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mammography and/or CT certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist (ARRT).
