Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Truck Service, Inc. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty vehicle suspension, brakes, and steering systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose issues with heavy-duty vehicle suspension, brakes, and steering systems
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and chassis lubrication
  • Conduct DOT inspections and alignments on heavy-duty commercial vehicles
  • Test drive and quality control inspect vehicles after repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a truck mechanic or related field
  • Toolbox, hand tools, and air tools
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Valid CDL or willingness to obtain
  • ASE certifications or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
