Job Title: Floor Technician

SBM Management Services is seeking a skilled Floor Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our commercial and office spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Comply with safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to complete tasks and achieve team goals.
  • Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and rules at all times.
  • Take direction and respond to supervision in a professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and customers in a professional and respectful tone.
  • Fill in during staff shortages and support shift leads in completing punch-list items.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required for assigned tasks.
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Understand and prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
  • Operate motorized cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas and perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors.
  • Complete work assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize chemicals and supplies according to procedure and maintain equipment properly.
  • Report safety hazards and concerns to management.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in the janitorial industry with floor/carpet care expertise preferred.
  • Must pass SBM background checks, pre-employment drug screening, and E-Verify.
  • Floor care experience and knowledge of machinery operation required.
  • General knowledge of floor care and scrubbing techniques preferred.
Compensation and Shift:

$17.00 per hour. Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
