Medical Billers, under the supervision of the Director of Billing, will assist the Medical Group with accurate billing and maintaining records for each patient from multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit completed medical bills for patients.
Knowledge of insurance companies and procedures for filing. Generate statements in EPIC on a daily basis.

Proficiency in medical terminology, strong customer service, organization, oral and written communication skills are essential for this role as you will be corresponding with insurance companies and medical personnel.

Primary payer claims daily, print and process secondary payer claims.
Collaborate with other OptumCare employees to achieve specific team goals.
Experience in data entry, fast and accurate typing min of 40 wpm.
MUST be able to multitask.
Be punctual with deadlines. All OptumCare employees are expected to be reliable and accountable. All OptumCare employees are expected to stay up-to-date on current medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA and OSHA regulations
