Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to hospital nursing practice standards and demonstrate appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Complete a Nursing Assessment form on each patient within 24 hours.
Identify patient needs based on objective data and follow through with appropriate documentation.
Implement appropriate Nursing actions to each patient that needs to be identified.
Make decisions that reflect both knowledge of facts and sound judgment.
Discuss with and include patient and/or family significant other about planned patient care and expected outcomes and document same.
Identify and appropriately utilize a multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of patient care.
Instruct and document patient in follow-up care/activities in preparation for transfer/discharge.
Evaluate the patient's/significant other's understanding of instructions.
Give written instructions and materials to patients and families.
Requirements:
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware or valid temporary permit.
Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
Previous Critical Care nursing experience required.
BLS and ACLS Certification required.
